and everyone else to serve the HOMELESS COMMUNITIES OF SOUTHERN NEVADA. Having been “reassigned” from the Workforce Committee CO-CHAIR duties to The “VOLUNTEER COURTESY PATROL LEADERSHIP” COMMITTEE, gave me even much more event enjoyment, to be able to help place into positions, needed to help direct and guide people to the “points” of the events that helped the people get to the “Navigators” who walked and guided people to their various services and jobs locations and ‘THIS WAS A GREAT DAY” FOR THE BIGGEST REECE FAMILY (TERRY AND JULIA REECE) VOLUNTEER EVENT FOR THE YEAR.

Although, The Day started out very Cold for Las Vegas, this time of the year, it turned out to be a Fantastic day as it warmed up later and no Rain, nor “Spitting of Snow”, as it could have been…

For My Duties, My Wife and I were not supposed to arrive until 7:00AM, but I was insistent at us getting there by 6:00AM (Just in Case; Emily needed us), and I could tell, By Emily’s “Smile and Hug, and Excitement”, when we arrived early, that “WE” (ME and my Wife) had done the right thing! Emily put us right to work, at the “Parking Entrances” Patrols, as it seems that Many people who were supposed to have showed up, did NOT show up, (AS Usual- Some people are Just NOT dependable, at all; BUT, I/WE are “OLE SCHOOL”) and “OUR WORD IS OUR BOND”, UNLESS GOD SAYS DIFFERENT, AND EVEN THEN, ONE OF US WOULD CALL/TEXT/CONTACT TO SAY WE ARE EITHER IN THE HOSPITAL OR TOO SICK TO MAKE IT!!!/=”RESPECT”!

About Us

The Nevada Homeless Alliance was established in 1992.  Over the last 25 years, we have convened community partners in the planning and execution of Connect Events.  In the last five years alone, these events have assisted more than 15,000 homeless individuals in accessing vital resources and services.

SO, IT was a GREAT DAY, in GOD’S spirit, even when issues of technology and wi-fi happened, and others “Gremlins” (“EVIL STRIPE”/LOL/SMILE), may have showed up, The Massive event happened, and “this ole blessed 61 year old, Type2 Diabetic=”THE MONSTER” inside of me carrying man got to be a service provider to others who may not have even had “Shoes to wear”, and some that even “HAD NO FEET TO USE”, and “NO PLACE to BE WARM”, at night…”WE are Blessed-Better-Than-Blessed, THANK THE LORD”!

ALL-IN-ALL, THIS WAS A GREAT DAY, AND I ENJOYED WORKING WITH HEAD OF SECURITY=GREG AND LVMPD AND THE SHERIFF’S AND OTHER SECURITY PATROLS…
