BLACK SALT COREUPTION VIDEO GAME AVAILABLE FOR PLAY AT E3
MAKERS OWEN RATLIFF AND JESSE WRIGHT REVEAL NEW FEATURES,
RECEIVE BEST IN ACTION AWARD AT DREAMHACK DALLAS 2019
Las Vegas, NV – Owen Ratliff and Jesse Wright of Ratti Entertainment, LLC today released a list of new features planned for the Black Salt Coreuption console launch toward the end of the year, including new characters, costumes, more play levels, enhanced sound effects, taunts, four player and survival – free for single players and teams – facial expressions, voice acting, special chi/cores meter, and cutscenes for story mode. The pair also announced that Coreupt, which is the predecessor game and storyline to Black Salt Coreuption, is currently in development.
Black Salt Coreuption is available for play at E3 2019 this week:
· Media may visit Booth #2723 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center Tuesday, June 11 to Thursday June 13.
· Wright is available for interviews and photo-ops.
· Austin St. John is available for phone interviews.
Additionally, DreamHack Dallas 2019 awarded Ratliff and Wright “Best in Action” honors for Black Salt Coreuption. The game was showcased in the event’s “Indie Playground” section.
“Players can expect an action-packed, agile, amped-up 3D single player or multi-player martial arts fighting experience from Black Salt Coreuption console,” said Ratliff. “There is no other independent game that can rival its thematic storyline, arena combat experience, or the passion and dedication Jesse and I have for this game. The reception the digital version of Black Salt Coreuption received at DreamHack Dallas blew us away, and that was before we knew we won the ‘Best in Action’ award.”
Said Wright, “Owen created Black Salt over a decade ago, but our ultimate goal has always remained clear: we sought success, but not at the cost of comprising the authenticity of Black Salt. Over the years, we were tested time and time again. We stood our ground and remained patient. We waited for the right opportunity to bring our type of characters to life. We believe that time is now.”
In addition to Black Salt, it was recently announced that actor Austin St. John, who is renowned for his role as the original Red Power Ranger, stars as a character in the game.
“We reached out to Austin St. John a couple of years ago and approached him with the Black Salt film and the two games, Black Salt Coreuption which is already out there as well as its prequel game Coreuption,” said Tony Barnett, COO of Ratti Entertainment, LLC. “We came to an agreement that day. What’s most important to Austin is raising awareness and funds for Autism and the many other cause-related organizations he works with around the world. Black Salt can support his initiatives through its multi-media franchise and the brick and mortar locations associated with the multi-billion dollar gamer industry.”
